An ever-increasing number of writers end up chasing a diminishing number of readers. And soon, just as happened in journalism, when everyone is a writer, no one is.</i> <br /><br />I think your fears have a lot of merit. The disappearing advances, the lower numbers and lower pay outs for e-books as opposed to traditional publishers all point to supply and demand issues with the advent of e-publishing.
