Wasn't it just last week that I was talking about the fact that for most of its history, science fiction's science was largely speculative? And that the speculation often turned out to be predictive? Take a look at this fantastic chart, developed by io9 blog reader Isabelle Turner, proof positive that science fiction often becomes science fact. (Admittedly, all this cool info has to be crammed into a small space.
