Cover reveal and re-release of 2013 RITA finalist GHOST PLANET (for 99 cents for now!)

Today I'm excited to announce that GHOST PLANET, originally published in 2012, has been re-released in Kindle format. It has a gorgeous new cover and lower price. In fact, for a very limited time (until Sept. 23) it's available for 99 cents. This is a book close to my heart because:

  • It was my debut, and my first professional fiction sale.
  • It's the reason I met Laurie, our Spacefreighters founder. (And Donna, shortly thereafter.)
  • It was a pick of the month for Felicia Day's Vaginal Fantasy Book Club
  • It got two RWA Golden Heart nominations and a RITA nomination for best first book.

This is the second of my sci-fi romance titles that my agency and I have transitioned from traditionally published to indie published. (The first was THE OPHELIA PROPHECY back in July.)

I loved Tor's original cover for GHOST PLANET and was sad to give it up, but Danielle Fine did an amazing job on the new version. I like that it's clear this is a romance, and I love the foreboding backdrop. And that expression on the hero is just SO Murphy.

Today is a soft launch, as the official date is Sept 19, to coincide with an upcoming sci-fi romance promo featuring more than 60 books either free or priced at 99 cents. I'm also still tweaking categories on Amazon, getting reviews linked up, and getting it added to Goodreads.

The novel is coming up on its fourth birthday (Oct. 30), and I'm excited to see it get a makeover. If you haven't read it, be sure not to miss the 99-cent window!

    1. Currently it's Kindle exclusive on the recommendation of my agency. But eventually we will re-release in other formats! I may make some ARCs available in epub or PDF for reviews!

    1. No photo or last name - mystery woman! But I have only ever known one Darynda. :D Thanks so much for dropping by, and glad you like it! The original cover was beautiful, but this one is also HOT.
