Friday Five

I've decided I'm going to declare next week Science Fiction Romance Week. There isn't one already, as far as I know, so I'm going to invent one and have fun with it.

For today's Friday Five, here are five things you might see on this blog next week:

1. Interviews
2. Polls
3. Preview of coming SciFiRom attractions
4. A mention of other SciFiRom blogs
5. Possibly an interactive "game"

We'll see how this goes...

    Sounds like fun.

  3. I swear if I pick up another SFR with a brown-haired Alpha Male I'm going to puke Tribbles.

Where's Geordie? And Trip? And Mr. Sulu?

Great idea, Laurie, and I hope you blog about the need for greater variety in SFR. Romance may be all about beloved tropes, but Science Fiction is all about the fantastic unknown.

  4. Oh boy, fun fun fun.

This is right up my alley.

  5. Ooooh, will there be booze, too?
Should I bring a dish to pass?

What do you think of this motto -

Science Fiction Romance: Love On The Final Frontier?

Kimber, puking Tribbles sounds serious. Quick call Bones with his tricorder.

Hello, Jess, hope to see you at the party.

Agent Z, we serve the finest Billins in the Mennelsohn Galaxy here and it'll be on the house for SciFiRom week. A dish to pass? How about more Cosmic Comet ice cream for the cake we're dishing up on Monday?

Love the motto! I'll add it to the list at the top. Nice one.

  7. Motto:

Science Fiction Romance - Hot Nookie in Outer Space

The trouble is I can't stand SFR which is only about hot nookie in outer space. Some may even profess to be about love, but I've known the real thing long enough to know better. Gimme some true love, trust, respect, dignity. Denibulan Slimedevils can do it against the bulkheads every other page - big whoopty-doo.

Okay, I'll stop being snarky and move along now.
