And the Tower Grows Taller

I just placed another book order and I'll soon have three new SciFiRoms for my Leaning Tower of TBR (TM).

GRIMSPACE by Ann Aquirre
I've heard a lot of good things about this one.

CORDELIA'S HONOR by Lois McMaster Bujold
Thanks to the Shelfari Science Fiction Romance gang for the recommendation.

SHADES OF DARK by Linnea Sinclair
Can't wait for the continuing adventures and trials of Chaz and Sully.

  1. Cordelia's Honor is one of my all-time favorites. :o) Eventually I'll even get to reading the rest of the series.

  2. *looks around with a sheepish expression*

I have a confession. I've never read any of Bujold's books. I know. I should be shot. Or lazed. Or whatever the punishment-du-jour awaits wayward SciFiRom writers.

Cordelia's Honor came with high recommendations. I'm looking forward to the read.

  3. You have to let me know about Shades of Dark. I like Chaz and Sully! I'm not thrilled with the "let's break up" blurb I've read on the book so I've been dodging it.

If anything, I want a sequel to Downhome Zombie Blues.

P.S. Why doesn't your blog seem to update on my blog list? I keep trying to fix it and it keeps coming up as not updated in 1 year. What am I doing wrong?

  4. I just finished SHADES OF DARK, and I just started THE OUTBACK STARS. Loved CORDELIA'S HONOR. I got a late start with Bujold, too, Laurie!

  5. Laurie, you are going to love CORDELIA'S HONOR. I just got through reading it, for the third time, and find more to like about the characters each time that I visit them. :-)

  6. Well, as you know Heather, I love THE OUTBACK STARS. I'm anxious to read SHADES OF DARK because I read the first book.

Thanks Frances and Heather for the reinforcement on CORDELIA'S HONOR.
